Marc Newson’s Qantas A380… I nicked a lovely Newson × Qantas wine glass off a flight a few trips back. The opportunity just sort of presented itself and I took it. Then I felt bad and dumped about $10 of coins into the unicef bag and gave it to the lady on the way out.
The glass broke a while back. Now they have replaced the glasses with slight redesigns that have a fatter, stabler more uncomfortable lip. Not really worth nicking off with anymore… I wonder if that was part of the reason for the redesign?
I also wonder what kind of glasses will make an appearance on the A380…?
